Full Truck Load (FTL) up to 24 t
Full truck load transport up to 24 t and 100 m³ across Europe - standard, mega and jumbo trailers from a vetted carrier network, managed by one forwarder from booking to proof of delivery.

Full loads across Europe, without the brokerage games
A full truck load is the simplest form of road freight and the easiest to get wrong. The freight itself is straightforward; the failure points are capacity that was never actually confirmed, a carrier nobody vetted, and a price that moves after the goods are on board.
DMF Express books FTL capacity from a carrier network we have built and checked over more than a decade - licences, insurance, ADR certification and, just as importantly, a track record of actually turning up. You get one forwarder, one confirmation, one invoice, and a named person who answers when you call.
Choosing the right trailer
The cheapest FTL is the one where the trailer fits the cargo. Two shipments of the same weight can need completely different equipment:
- Dense, heavy goods (metal, machinery, liquids in IBCs, building materials) hit the 24 t weight limit long before they fill the space - a standard tautliner is the right and cheapest answer.
- Light but bulky goods (packaging, insulation, furniture, plastics, automotive parts) fill the space at a fraction of the weight limit. Here a mega trailer’s extra 8 m³, or a jumbo combination’s 120 m³, is what decides whether you pay for one truck or two.
- Goods loaded from the side or the top, or at sites without a ramp, need a curtain-side body rather than a box.
Send us dimensions as well as weight and we will tell you which of these applies.
What is included
- Capacity confirmed in writing, with the vehicle and registration known before loading.
- Carrier vetting: transport licence, CMR liability insurance and, where relevant, ADR certification checked before we book.
- CMR consignment note prepared correctly, plus customs documentation coordination for non-EU traffic.
- Loading and unloading windows agreed with both sites, including timed slots at distribution centres.
- GPS tracking and status updates at loading, at the border and before delivery.
- Signed CMR and proof of delivery returned after unloading.
Loading and securing
Cargo securing is not an afterthought - it is a legal requirement under EN 12195-1 and the first thing a roadside inspection checks. We agree the securing method before loading: anti-slip mats, lashing straps, edge protectors, load bars or blocking, depending on the goods. If a consignment needs specific equipment, it is in the quote rather than being discovered at the ramp.
Lanes we run most often
Slovakia to Germany, Austria, Czechia, Hungary, Poland and Italy are our highest-frequency FTL lanes, with regular traffic to France, the Benelux countries, Spain and Scandinavia. Return-leg capacity on these routes is what lets us price competitively without cutting corners on the carrier.
